Sapphic Double Proposal in Williamsburg, VA

A Dreamy Engagement Session

“If I were to build a house

I’d have your arms as the walls

Your eyes as the windows

Your smile as the front door

Your heart as the fireplace

And your soul as my light

And in this house

I’d place my faith

Knowing I’d finally

Found a home”

— Pillow Thoughts by Courtney Peppernell

My editing style has grown to reflect a more modern and polished aesthetic since this session. That said, my approach to couples photography has stayed true. I would love to chat about how to bring your vision to life!

A Love Story That Feels Like Fate

K & E’s love story is the kind that feels straight out of a novel. Full of serendipity, deep connection, and an unshakable bond. From the moment they crossed paths, it was clear they were meant to be.

When they first reached out about capturing their engagement, I had no idea just how special this session would be. It was pure joy, pure love, and absolutely breathtaking to witness.

Since this session, I’ve had the immense honor of photographing their wedding at Hotel Kansas City in KCMO, and I can truly say they are two of the kindest, most incredible souls I’ve ever worked with. Clients turned fast friends, I could not imagine my life and career without them in it.

Seeing them exchange vows, surrounded by the same warmth and joy I witnessed during their engagement session, was nothing short of breathtaking. Nary a dry eye to be found in that room. You can read more about it on my blog about their wedding. Their double proposal was just the beginning of a lifetime of love and laughter.

Cheers to life-altering love.
